Howard University’s ELI Institute Celebrates Entrepreneur Week

National Entrepreneurship Week is scheduled for the last week in February 2008 (February 23 – March 1, 2008) and is a celebration in response to the U S House of Representatives Resolution #699 advocating an annual week in support of American entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship education.  The focus of this second year’s celebration includes the importance of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurs in all the networking, publicity, events, policy, and support that is included in National Entrepreneurship Week.

The Howard University Institute for Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Innovation (ELI Institute) offers significant opportunities for students and other African American and minority stakeholders to acquire knowledge and skills essential for success as entrepreneurs. The Institute creates an environment that supports entrepreneurial activities and initiatives that will help to create jobs and fuel economic growth in minority communities.
